For my 24th Inktober drawing the word prompt was “blind”. I used a 7mm mechanical pencil and a black ink Bic pen to draw my blindfolded lady. My first thought was to draw the “three blind mice”, but drawing a person was more appealing to me. I think the tiny ink drawing turned out lovely, so I was pleased. Trust has been a constant problem for me. It is hard for me to trust anyone, even myself. I trust God, I just do not trust anyone human. It has been a real challenge for me to let the wall around me crumble that I spent years building and making impenetrable. In this new life I have mercifully acquired, I am aware that my wall has to go. I’m just not ready yet.
I will walk by faith even when I can not see.

Today is a great day!!! I must say I am in an awesome mood and feel so motivated. I am excited to work on my flower progression progress, and get some work done. I also feel pumped to begin my next canvas, and I know what I will be sketching. Today’s word prompt “juicy” made me think of a super juicy peach that drips sticky sweetness as you bite into it. Today is a great day! Can’t stop saying it. 🙂 🙂 🙂 Shalom y’all!
Know the difference between those who stay to feed the soil, and those who come to grab the fruit.
For my 22nd Inktober drawing I used a 7mm mechanical pencil and a black Bic pen. When I saw the prompt word “trail” I thought of Pooh and Piglet. I absolutely love A.A. Milne quotes, and I am happy I got to use one tonight.
xoxo Ash 🙂
Any day spent with you is my favorite day. So, today is my new favorite day.
For my 21rst Inktober 2017 drawing, I used a black Bic pen and a green Bic pen. I drew a lion furiously roaring and ready to attack. Happy Saturday!!!
Be still. The Lord will fight for you;
you need only to be still.
My 20th word prompt for Inktober 2017 was “deep”, and I immediately thought of an ant hill. I did a quick tiny sketch with colored ink pens of the inside of a deep red ant hill. It came out a little scribbled and messy, but I depicted their dirt formations pretty accurately. Today has been another super busy day adjusting into the lives and life routines of my new family members. Sometimes I get really flustered and super stressed, but I just need to learn how to relax and go with the flow. Shabbat Shalom and hope everyone’s weekend is amazing!!!
For my 19th Inktober drawing, I played around with my blue Levenger ink. My attempt at creating ink clouds was comical, and I added a little black cat to one of the ink clouds as well. A cute little whimsical addition to my Inktober 2017 ink drawings. Have a lovely evening!
Xoxo Ash 🙂

For the Inktober word prompt for today, “filthy”, I used a 7mm mechanical pencil, Bic pens in black, green, and pink, and some brown watercolor. I drew a young girl covered in mud. I remember as a young girl going outside to play and getting as filthy dirty as was humanly possible. It was fun! Now that I am a woman, getting dirty outside has lost a lot of its charm.
Play in the dirt, because life is too short to always have clean fingernails.
